Foosball associations ITSF

In 2002 eight national federations (Belgium, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Great Britain, USA) established proactive the ITSF (International Table Soccer Federation) as a worldwide umbrella organization for national federations.

At the end of 2009 60 national federations belonged to the ITSF, whose registered office is in France. The federation organizes international tournament series and championships. The goal is to make foosball Olympic.

For this project it’s necessary to push the commercialization of the sport. The ITSF is attempting to achieve this, for example by trying to bring the fundamental characteristics of the common tables on the same standard.

This enables the comparison of the performance of the players regardless of the tables used. Currently there are 5 officially authorized tables – of course the Leonhart pro_tables are part of them!
